TRACEABILITYAs an important element of our supply management and quality control system, we employ a trace-ability system which allows us to trace our products from the source to the finished product. We trace goods along the distribution system on the basis of a lot number system and keep records of all our suppliers as well as records of which companies we have supplied. All papers that are used during the distribution chain, all invoices, packing- lists, and bills of lading show the country of origin in compliance with the COOL Act and indicate whether seafood is wild-caught or farm-raised. All these components put us into the position to have 100% trace-ability with full lot tracking from the source of the product to the customer.
